What people say about Bamboo 52:

Hi Edwin,

I hope this message finds you well. I hosted my 31st birthday party at Bamboo 52 on Saturday night, and I just wanted to express my gratitude. I couldn't have asked for a better venue - the space was classy and comfortable, the music was just the right volume, and the sushi was delicious. In particular, I was impressed with the service of our hostess - she was blonde, kinda short, and think her name was Rita (given how much I drank that night, can't remember much). I just wanted to highlight how outstanding I thought she was; several of my guests also commented on how impressed they were. I look forward to recommending your venue to friends for their functions in the future.

Have a great week,

Hello Edwin,

The party went very well on Saturday. A big thanks to you and the staff. Martin was our server and did an excellent job.  I’ll definitely come back again.

Thank you os much for allowing my friends and me to celebrate my 24th birthday last Saturday. We had a few cancelations - ok, half of the party cancelled - but it was a great event. Our waiter (didn't catch his name but he has short dread locks) was such a fun guy - tell him thank you from us. I also noticed that my drinks were not on the bill and then read that the birthday boy (or girl) drinks free all night. Thank you sooooooooo much! That was unexpected! I've been coming to Bamboo 52 since you guys opened - ages ago I even worked next door at Therapy and always recommend you guys to everyone. Thanks again!

Dominik

My partner (of 25 years) and I spent a few days in NYC over the Independance Day holiday and stumbled across Bamboo 52 on July 4th '07 while the fireworks were going on.

We'd eaten earlier so we were there for just cocktails. The waiter (who told us he also bartended on other nights) welcomed us and made us feel at home. The music was great and we really appreciated the attention he  gave us. He made us feel comfortable , sat with us and made us laugh and just made us feel good.

We're from a tiny town in the sticks in North Carolina and I have to admit that I had some hesitation about tackling the big apple. Would people be friendly?

We enjoyed ourselves so much that we came back the next  night (7-5-07) for sushi and sat at the bar while these amazing chefs prepared a feast for us!

OMG! These guys were great! The waitress brought us amazing cocktails (I've turned our friends on to the Geisha Mojito) and the chefs were friendly and chatted with us while they prepared our meal and even gave us a custom made salad that wasn't on the menu as a treat ...

The waiter from the night before was working behind the bar that night and he kept us happy. The waitress (a gorgeous asian lady) was attentive and saw to our every request. The sushi chefs were so much fun to chat with.... and I ate more raw fish than I ever thought I could. Yum!

Just thought I'd let you know that I can't wait to go back to New York!

By the way ... LOVE the mirror ball with the red light in the sushi bar!

Love ya!
